In this second instalment we look at autumn 2025 and work that is progressing on the fields of the Netherlands. Crops are harvested such as sugar beet and tulips bulbs are planted. Also most fields are ploughed in the final months of the year. Conditions this year were especially favourable. This video features modern farm machinery. Tractors from brand such as Fendt, John Deere and Case IH but also specialist harvesting machinery from Vervaet, Grimme, SU Tech and implements from Lemken, Kuhn, Amazone and more. There are also some shots taken in the UK.

It is time for a recap of 2025 with images of the spring and summer seasons. We start in the spring with jobs such as topping tulips, mowing grass and bedtilling. We then move on to the summer months with the harvest of winter barley, oil seed rape and winter wheat. With footage taken both in the Netherlands and in France.

Special harvester you won't find anywhere else | Modified Ploeger | Lilly bulb harvest

This modified self propelled Ploeger (Oxbo) harvester is a unique machine. Originally this uses a single unloading elevator. This has been removed and a system of 2 elevators fitted in place. This harvester is used for lilly bulbs. By means of 2 elevators the harvester can lift the bulbs from one side of the field. This saves passes and is easier when planting the different varieties. The modification work was carried out by Dutch farm machinery company Blok and bulb grower De Wit Espel. The AR-4W is a 3m wide machine and normally used for harvesting potatoes. It can however be used for all kinds of speciality crops. Here 2 1.5m lilly beds are lifted. Three Valtra T175 tractors and Beco trailers are carting the crop away to the farm.

Graafstra Agra Warrior - Primeur! | Leliebollen oogst | Nieuwe rooimachine

Deze unieke video laat de eerste bewegende beelden zien van de gloednieuwe Graafstra Agra Warrior zelfrijdende rooimachine. Deze rooier wordt gebruikt voor het oogsten van lelies, maar hij kan ook voor andere speciale gewassen worden gebruikt zoals plantuien. Graafstra ontwikkelde de machine samen met de Franse rooimachinespecialist Pouchain. Desondanks is de machine volledig nieuw ontwikkeld. De grote rooierfabrikanten bieden niet langer een zelfrijdende rooier met afvoer en zonder bunker aan. Graafstra koos er daarom voor om zelf een machine te ontwikkelen. Het eerste exemplaar is verkocht aan Markhorst Bloembollen. Hij is hier in actie te zien, uitgerust met Zuidberg tracks. Bekijk de video voor de volledige uitleg van deze machine! This video focus on the harvest of potatoes and sugar beet, grass, tillage, soil preparation and drilling winter cereals in the Netherlands during autumn 2025. The Netherlands has some very good farming soils, but these have to be farmed with great care. Thanks to a higher water table the soil cannot take a lot of weight, especially when conditions are wet. This is one of the reasons why central tyre inflation systems (CTIS) are becoming increasingly popular. Dutch farmers are renowned for their vegetable farming, growing crops such as: (seed) potatoes, onions, carrots and more.

Unique ditch digger | One pass profiling & drilling grass

Dutch contractor Van Steen developed this self propelled machine for re-profiling ditch banks and sowing them with grass. The base vehicle is a second hand Vredo VT4546 Trac that has been fitted with a turn-able Claas Xerion cab. A Hemos ditch auger is used to re-profile the ditch bank. Once the correct slope has been reached grass is sown using a second arm. There is also a third crane arm fitted to this machine, but it is not in use here. This machine is especially useful in the Dutch polders where there is a large network of ditches to remove excess water from the fields. Over time the ditch banks can collapse so it is required to put them back in the correct profile.

Forage maize (corn) silage season 2025 has come to an end in the Netherlands. On November 8th 'Haksel Team de Betuwe' were busy chopping the final field for this year. Four tractors and mounted 1 and 2 row choppers were used alongside a 3 row self-propelled Hesston 4000. There was no shortage of tractors and trailers for transport.

Brand new Fendt 620 Vario on tracks! | Tulip bulb planting | Trike John Deere & more

Planting tulip bulbs is in full swing during half October. Dutch tulip grower Boon Brothers are busy planting in Flevoland with their brand new Fendt 620 Vario ONE on Soucy tracks. This is fitted with a front loader, roof mounted hopper and 1.80m wide net planter from Dutch manufacturer Vlaming. The bulbs are planted in between two layers of netting. The big advantage is that, when harvesting the bulbs in July, the whole bed with nets is lifted and the bulbs extracted without excess soil. First the field (previously grass) has to be prepared. A Fendt 820 Vario is ploughing with a Lemken Juwel and this is followed by a John Deere 6155R trike with Celli power harrow. Both combinations are from contracting company Breure - De Waard. After planting the tracks are eradicated in between the beds.
